Elevator pitch 1/10A

Hi!   Here is my elevator pitch!

  1. Hi Rebeca,
I think you did a great job with your pitch. I really like how you had an example of what the product would look like and mentioned where it would be sold at. I think your hook was pretty good. To me, it looked like you were reading your pitch. I think it would be more effective if you weren't reading it. If it was memorized, I think you would be able to include more of an emotional appeal to your pitch. But overall, I think you did a great job.

  2. Hello Rebeca,
I like the fact that you addressed your audience directly in your opener. It was also beneficial to have a demonstration product available so that people could see a tangible item as a comparison. Making available the item’s pricing and having an estimation about how long a single tube would last actually helped persuade me on a concept that I previously probably would not have considered for use. You really hit this one out of the park.

  3. Hi Rebecca!

Overall, I really liked your elevator pitch. You gave a really detailed pitch that included everything from why there is a need to what you can do to make it better. I like that you even sort of had a visual (though for an elevator pitch that may not actually be your best bet as this is an anytime anywhere type of pitch) by showing the concealer tube. The only critiques I have is that you seemed like you defiantly read something prewritten instead of a more off the cuff type of conversational pitch. I also didn’t love how you changed your audience throughout your pitch. You began addressing glasses wearers and ended with fellow students, being more consistent would have helped you be more singularly directed in the pitch. Otherwise great job
