Final reflection/Assignment 30A

1.  The most formative experience was definitely having to go out and talk to people in the community.  That's also the experience I'm most proud of accomplishing.  Most of the time I have an issue going and talking to people and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable.  So the fact that I did that and spoke to strangers is something I am very proud to have done.  As far as things that I will remember forever is all the elevator pitches.  We had to do three of them so I definitely don't think I will forget them anytime soon.  My most joyous experience honestly was all the peer reviews.  It was fun to read everyone's posts and see how everyone else interacted with the assignment.

2.  I do somewhat see myself as an entrepreneur but also I don't.  I do not really want to be an entrepreneur as a career so while this class changed my thinking it did not enough to make me want to be an entrepreneur.

3.  The best advice I can give to future class takers is to stay on top of the work.  Don't fall behind because if you do your grade will suffer for sure.  Also, do all of the assignments for sure.

  1. Hi Rebecca!

I can’t believe we have made it to the final post for this class! I enjoyed reading your reflections as we wrap up. I think you are spot on about the elevator pitches! I also totally agree about the peer reviews. I feel like I’ve learned so much from you and all of our other group members. Best of luck to you in all of your future entrepreneurial endeavors!

  2. Hi Rebeca,
I totally agree it can be extremely nerve racking to speak publicly, that is something that has always been hard for me as well as many others. I also really enjoyed the reviews because it is good to get that type of interaction as well as critical thinking. Good job overcoming your fears when it came to the elevator pitches!

  4. Hi Rebeca,
I complete agree with you and really enjoyed reading your post. I think meeting with people and getting there feedback was incredibly helpful in this process as well as being something that I had to push myself to do. I also think it's okay that you do not see yourself as an entrepreneur. I do not either but am thankful for the skills that I learned in this class. I think it has been very helpful and will be beneficial later in life. Great job!
